• You have just bought a new house or are thinking of doing so, you can negotiate with your
lender to provide you a reduced rate or even free for 2-5 years home and car insurance package;
• Moved to another state. Most states have different laws and regulations when it comes to car
insurance. Although it is possible to have insurance from another state brought over, it might actually be much cheaper just to purchase local
insurance for your car.
• Living on a budget. Although your current car insurance cover may be quite a good deal when
you bought it, it might not be now. Look for insurers that have an online presence as these can be much cheaper options if you look for new
insurance.
• If you are purchasing a new car you can also get bundled in together with the deal a certain
period of free insurance. These deals are sometimes advertised but most of the time not. The insurance is almost always brought through a car
dealership and most of the time you will need to ask for it. There is no harm in asking.
• You have a change in living circumstances and can either afford or are forced to get more
than more car. Most insurers will happily insure two cars with multiple drivers are a much heavier discount than having the two cards insured
separately.
